30 Nov Stock Market Update: Market slips lower in early trade

Sensex nifty down Key benchmark indices slipped in the early morning trade on Thursday due to market movements seemed to have turned negative ahead of India’s GDP growth data which is due today later evening. The stocks of State Bank of India, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Axis Bank, Reliance Industries, Bharti Airtel traded in the red in early trade. 

At 10.35 am, the BSE Sensex traded lower by 252.09 points at 33,350.67, while the NSE Nifty 50 fell 76.50 points to 10,284.80.

Jewellery stocks such as Tara Jewels fell 8.3%, Gitanjali Gems fell 2.4%, PC Jeweller declined 1.8%, among others; while stocks of Healthcare Global rose 5 percent.

Shares of Bajaj Auto and Dr Reddy’s Laboratories were the major gainers on Sensex, rising up over 1 percent while State Bank of India, Axis Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Reliance (RIL) Adani Ports, lost up to 1.7 percent.

Most of the Asian shares also sunk in the early morning session today after the US technology barometer index lost nearly 1 percent on Wednesday.

The rupee goes down 24 paise at 64.55 versus the US dollar in the morning ahead of the Sept quarter GDP data.

Sensex Nifty falls Sensex & Nifty started little changed on Tuesday on a flat note with negative bias. At 10.30 am, the BSE Sensex was lower by 15.68 points at 33,708.76, while the NSE Nifty 50 fell 3.30 points to 10,396.25.

Shares of Reliance Communications (RCom) fell 7 percent after China Dev Bank has become the first lender to charge a case against Reliance Communications under the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code

Shares of Eris Life sciences gain on outperform by 3.5% after brokerage firm Credit Suisse has initiated outperform rating with a price target of Rs. 770 a share.

The Indian rupee followed the stock market trend, dropping 7 paise at 64.57 versus the US dollar in the early trade.

Shares of Maruti Suzuki, Cipla, HDFC, Bajaj Auto, Adani Ports and Axis Bank, were the major gainers today in early hours, rising up to 0.7% while Power Grid, ONGC, ITC, NTPC, ICICI Bank, Asian Paints were laggards up to 1.6%.

The key benchmark indices continued to trade steadily tracking positive domestic as well global cues on Friday. The BSE Sensex rose 90.60 points to 33,678 and the NSE Nifty50 Index rose 34 points to 10,381 at 11:10 hours today.

Shares of Infosys gained over 1.5% on Friday later hours, while stocks of Reliance Industries, Bajaj Auto and Bharti Airtel were trading up over 0.5 percent each. In the Nifty50 pack, shares of IndusInd Bank, Tech Mahindra & Aurobindo Pharma gained over 1 percent each, to help the index keep up the opening gains. In the Nifty index, 40 stocks advanced while 10 stocks declined, on the other hand, Hindustan Unilever, Tata Stee and Adani Ports shed nearly 1% each on Sensex.

Shares of Bata India declined 2% to Rs. 730 following Brokerage firm Motilal Oswal has down-graded the company to sell from buy & kept its price target to Rs. 578 per share, down 23 percent from its previous close.

Shares of RBL Bank Ltd rose 3 percent to Rs. 521.15 after huge block deal. About 5.93 mln shares of the bank changed hands in a block deal, as per media report.

Sensex Nifty lower trade, Stock to watch out on Monday 13 Nov. 2017

sensex down The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty rose marginally in opening trade on Monday on mixed cues from global markets. At 10.20 am, BSE Sensex traded lower by 82.88 points to 33,231.80, while the NSE Nifty 50 fell 37.80 points to 10,283.95. Gains are mainly seen in auto stocks and software stocks, while realty and Capital good stocks were witnessing majority of the selling pressure in the morning hours.

Stock Movements in early hours:  Shares of L&T fell 3% to Rs. 1236 after the company reduced its order inflow guidance for the full year ended March 2018.

Stocks of RCom fell 8% to Rs13 after the company posted a fourth consecutive consolidated loss to Rs. 2,709 crore in the quarter ended September against profit of Rs 62 crore a year ago.

Shares of Axis Bank Ltd rose 2% after the bank on Friday said its board had approved raising up to Rs.11,625.8 crore through a private placement of shares led by private equity fund Bain Capital.

Stock in focus: Tata Chemicals, Idea, Indian Hotels, Apollo Hospitals, NTPC, Future Enterprises, Gujarat State Petronet, among others, are scheduled to report their quarterly earnings during the day.

New India Assurance Company’s recently concluded IPO, will make its stock market debut on Monday.

Larsen & Toubro has reported a net profit Rs 1,820 cr in the second quarter of 2017-18, up 27 % YoY.

Reliance Communications Limited has posted a consolidated loss of Rs 2709 cr for the Sept end quarter compared to a loss of Rs 1210 cr in the previous quarter.

30 Oct Monday Live Sensex Nifty High, Auto,Bank Stocks lead

Sensex Nifty rise today Live Market- BSE Sensex rose 137.23 points to 33,294.45, while the NSE Nifty gained 46 points to 10, 369.05 at 10.36 am on Monday. The shares of Maruti Suzuki, ONGC, Bharti Airtel rose, whereas the shares of Kotak Bank and Dr Reddy’s fell, while Indian rupee rose against the dollar.

ONGC shares gained 2.91% to Rs. 188.90. The net profit of the company rose 3.1% to Rs. 5,131 crore in July-Sept quarter from Rs. 4,975 crore in the corresponding period last year.
Aviation stocks lead gains as Jet Airways stock rose 7% and Inter Globe Aviation rose 1.7% while SpiceJet Ltd adds 2.6%.

Banking stocks were trading higher in the morning hours. Stocks of Syndicate Bank rose 3.6%, PNB 3.4%, OBC 2.7%, Bank of India 2.7%, Indian Bank 1.9%, Allahabad Bank and Union Bank of India, Yes Bank Corporation Bank rose 1.7% each, while Central Bank of India up1.6%.

Auto stocks rose in the morning hours such as Maruti Suzuki India Ltd up 1.2% to Rs. 8,215.20. Maruti Suzuhi’s net sales rose 21.8% to Rs. 21,428.1 crore, mainly due to better product mix.
The rupee opened at 64.92 per dollar and was trading at 64.90 against the dollar, up 0.24% from its last close of 65.05.
