Sensex, Nifty hit lifetime highs on early trade: Infosys down 1.3%

Sensex Nifty high Live Market- Sensex and Nifty started the holiday-shortened week on a positive note in the opening trade, led by gains in shares of TCS and metal and mining companies. BSE Sensex reached its peak high of 34005.37 and Nifty reached at 10,500 l in early trade. However, in the after hours the indices were trading lower.

The broader markets were also supported by positive footing in shares of GAIL India, Vedanta Ltd, ONGC rising up 0.7 to 1.1%.

Shares of Infosys’ down 1.3%, on Nifty50, while shares of Tata Consultancy Service rose 1.5% in early trade after a report said the company will renew large outsourcing contracts.
The Indian rupee opened marginally higher at 64.03 per dollar on Tuesday against 64.05 on Friday.

Stock Market News : Sensex, Nifty cut initial gains ahead of WPI inflation data

stock market up Sensex and Nifty opened a slight higher on Thursday as the US Fed Reserve overnight raised interest rates by 25 bps. The BSE Sensex trades up by 11.78 points at 33,064.82, while the NSE Nifty-50 rose 6.30 points to 10,199.25 in late morning hours.

Shares of Mahindra and Mahindra, DR Reddy’s Lab, Infosys, Asian Paints, ONGC, Lupin were the major gainers on Sensex today, rising up to 1.43% while Tata Consultancy Service, HDFC, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Hindustan Unilever Limited, lost up to 1.17%.

The index heavyweights like HDFC, TCS, ICICI Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank contributed the mainly to the Sensex losses, while Infosys & HDFC Bank helped to reduce the losses.

Shares of Tata Communications Limited rose 5 percent to Rs. 730 after the it has approved proposal to demerge around 773 acres surplus land of govt through special purpose vehicle company Hemisphere Properties Limited.

The rupee rose against the US dollar; it opened at 64.32 per dollar and was trading at 64.28 a dollar, up 0.24 percent from its last close of 64.44.

Sensex, Nifty extend gains, Bharti Airtel, Tata Motors shares gain

Sensex Nifty up Sensex & Nifty opened on a higher note for the second straight day on Friday. The BSE Sensex was up 249.49 points at 33,198.70. The NSE Nifty 50 index was up 83.30 points at 10,250 in later morning hours.

Shares of Tata Motors rose 1.7%, Vedanta up 1.6%), Marut Suzuki up 1.4%, IndusInd Bank rose 1.36% and United Phosphorus Ltd gained 1.3% becoming the top gainers on Nifty50, whereas Infratel, Eicher Motors, Asian Paints, NTPC and Ambuja Cement were the top losers in today’s trade.
Shares of Jet Airways declined about 4% after the company posted a 91 percent fall in its July-September net profit to Rs.50.00 crore.

The shares of Bharti Airtel Limited gained over 7.10 percent to on BSE while it zoomed 7.24 percent to Rs 518.5 on NSE and it settled up 6.5 percent on BSE.

The stock of Bharti Airtel was among the major gainers on Sensex, which rose 1.3 percent after it zoomed more than 6 percent in yesterday’s trade.

The Indian rupee opened little changed against the dollar. It opened at 64.55 per dollar and was trading at 64.58 a dollar, down 0.02% from its Thursday’s close of 64.57.

5 Dec Tuesday Sensex, Nifty slip in early trade; RCom tanks 7%

At 10.48 am, the BSE Sensex shed 114.33 points to begin at 32,755.39 whereas NSE Nifty 50 started the day at 10,090.10, down by 37.65

Shares of Wipro Ltd, Adani Ports, Power Grid and NTPC were the top losers today followed Infosys and HDFC Bank which contributed the most to the Sensex fall, while the shares of Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, supported to reduce the losses.

Shares Reliance Communications (RCom) slipped 6.93 percent to hit the day’s low of Rs 10.74 while Reliance Naval dipped 4.22 percent to day’s low of Rs 34.

The Reserve Bank of India’s two-day monetary policy review starts today and the decision will be released by tomorrow. The RBI’s monetary policy committee is expected to keep the policy repo-rate unchanged in the upcoming monetary policy review owing to various factors.

28 Nov Sensex, Nifty open lower on Tuesday, R-Com shares falls

Sensex Nifty falls Sensex & Nifty started little changed on Tuesday on a flat note with negative bias. At 10.30 am, the BSE Sensex was lower by 15.68 points at 33,708.76, while the NSE Nifty 50 fell 3.30 points to 10,396.25.

The Indian rupee followed the stock market trend, dropping 7 paise at 64.57 versus the US dollar in the early trade.

Shares of Maruti Suzuki, Cipla, HDFC, Bajaj Auto, Adani Ports and Axis Bank, were the major gainers today in early hours, rising up to 0.7% while Power Grid, ONGC, ITC, NTPC, ICICI Bank, Asian Paints were laggards up to 1.6%.
